Huntsville woman arrested for mailbox thefts

MADISON – Madison Police Department has arrested a Huntsville woman on charges of thefts from mailboxes in Madison.
On Dec. 31, 2015, Madison detectives arrested Dana Michelle Rogers, 44, of Huntsville on charges of recent thefts and destruction of mail from residential mailboxes in the City of Madison.
An eyewitness provided vehicle information that led detectives to identify Rogers as a suspect. The same citizen also was able to identify Rogers as the offender. Madison police arrested Rogers on multiple charges of criminal tampering and theft of property.
Rogers was arrested and booked into the Madison County Jail on the following charges: criminal tampering in the first degree, 11 counts; theft of property in the second degree, 1 count; and theft of property in the third degree, 2 counts.
Total bond amount was $31,000.
