2016 Beautification Awards winners announced

MADISON – At its annual awards luncheon, Madison Beautification & Tree Board presented 76 winners of 2016 Madison Beautification Awards.

Amber Braman, beautification board vice president, led the ceremony on June 23 at Best Western Plus. “What you may not know is that Madison Beautification and Tree Board is one of the hardest working volunteer boards for the City of Madison,” Braman said.

“I can’t count the hours that our team has worked together to distinguish the City of Madison as an inviting place to live, work and raise children,” Braman said. “Our Beautification Awards is one of our bigger projects that we undertake annually.”

Other board officers are president Karen Lawler, vice president/tree board Marsha Harris, treasurer Julie Ray, secretary Karen Forsyth, Liz Smith, Meredith Kilby, Beth Agee, Hollye Raines, Franklin Wetzel and Gerald Clark, liaison to Madison City Council.

The winners follow:

* Neighborhoods – Abbington Downs, Belmont Place, Bradford Farms, Breckenridge, Bridgefield, Brownsferry Crossing, Cambridge, Cedar Springs Station, Chapel Hill, Clift’s Cove, Crown Pointe, Edgewater, Foxfield, Gate House Manor, Greenbriar Woods, Heritage Plantation, Heritage Provence, Highland Lakes, Hillchase, Hunington Chase, Millstone, Oxford, Park Meadow, Shamrock, Stratford Square, The Reserve at Bridgefield, Walden, Waterford, Wellington, West Highlands, Windstone
