ALDOT to repair I-65 bridge, I-565 flyover

MADISON – Alabama Department of Transportation will perform routine repairs on Interstate 65 southbound on the bridge at the Tennessee River on Oct. 3-5.

On these days, ALDOT advises motorists to expect single-lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

ALDOT’s statewide bridge crew will complete the maintenance. Motorists are advised to expect delays or to consider using alternate routes.

In addition, ALDOT will inspect and repair guardrails on the flyover from I-565 westbound to I-65 southbound on Oct. 2-4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
