City of Madison to hold public meeting Dec. 12 for road improvement projects

MADISON — The City of Madison announced recently that it will hold a public meeting for the proposed improvements to Huntsville-Brownsferry Road and Hughes Road on Wednesday, Dec. 12, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.

The public is invited to review the proposed improvements and discuss the projects to provide input for design. The proposed improvements for Huntsville-Brownsferry Road can be viewed HERE, and design plans for Hughes Road can be viewed HERE.

For those who are unable to make the meeting, the City asks that they take the time to review the proposed improvements and send any comments to Professional Engineer Gary Chynoweth, director of the city’s Engineering Department, at gary.chynoweth@madisonal.gov.

Madison City Hall is located at 100 Hughes Rd.
