Bob Jones and James Clemens to face each other in second round of playoffs

Bob Jones and James Clemens to face each other in second round of playoffs

MADISON – Bob Jones and James Clemens girls soccer teams opened Class 7A post season action Tuesday with wins. Bob Jones (14-4-4) defeated Grissom (13-4-0) 3-1. James Clemens (9-3-2) defeated Sparkman (17-4-0) 1-0.

The Patriots will now face their cross-city rivals at James Clemens on Friday at 7 p.m. for the second round of the state playoffs.

The Patriots boys soccer team will also advance to the second round. Bob Jones (13-9-4) defeated Huntsville (17-8-1) 2-1. They will travel to Florence on Friday for round two of the playoffs.
