Seniors revisit their old elementary schools for annual tradition

MADISON – The seniors strolling through Madison Elementary today seemed like giants against the K-5 students lining the halls. But, it was not so long ago these soon-to-be graduates were underclassmen themselves at Madison Elementary School.

The visitors were taking part in senior stroll. It’s a tradition where graduating seniors from Bob Jones and James Clemens high schools revisit their elementary school for a quick stroll down memory lane.

Other MCS elementary schools hold their senior strolls tomorrow.

The kids high-fived and cheered the older students as they walked by in their caps and gowns.

Graduations are Monday at the Von Braun Center: 2 p.m. for Bob Jones and 7 p.m. for James Clemens.
