Police investigate Verizon store armed robbery

MADISON – Madison Police are investigating an armed robbery Monday afternoon. Officials say four people, three men and a women, robbed the Verizon store on Madison Blvd. It is located near the Wal-Mart shopping center between Lanier and Hughes.

According to Police, two black males and a white male, all wearing dark clothes and a black female wearing a red hoodie held a Verizon employee at gunpoint while they robbed the store. No one was injured during the crime.

According to reports, the robbers stole some display phones from the store. There have been no arrests at this time, but the police are continuing to investigate and search for suspects.
