CHAMBER CHAT: Madison Chamber of Commerce Best in Business Awards coming Oct. 22

By Pam Honeycutt, Executive Director of the Madison Chamber of Commerce

On Tuesday the Madison Chamber of Commerce will salute excellence in business with our Best in Business Awards at Insanity Complex.

This year, over 100 local businesses have been nominated to receive one or more of these prestigious awards. Our ambassadors have been hand delivering nomination certificates all week and you can feel the buzz growing in the community. Nominees will have until October 4th to submit their completed applications to the Chamber. Once all packets are received, an independent panel of judges will evaluate and score each application by category.

Congratulations to our 2019 nominees in the following categories: Start-Up Business of the Year, Excellence in Leadership & Service, Health & Wellness Business of the Year, Medical Practice of the Year, Culinary Business of the Year, Community Servant of the Year, Best Small Business of the Year, Best Non-Profit Business of the Year, and Best Business of the Year.

New for 2019, we have added some additional categories to better reflect our membership. Professional Service Business of the Year, Essential Service Business of the Year, and Arts, Entertainment & Hospitality Business of the Year round out our offerings and honor our service organizations and those dedicated to improving the quality of life for their clientele through arts, travel and/or leisure activities.

We also recognize our Ambassador of the Year for his or her dedication and hard work on behalf of the Madison Chamber of Commerce.

Join us as we celebrate the best businesses in our community!
