Senior Spotlight – John Hollis Herron

MADISON – John Hollis Herron is a senior at Bob Jones High School.

History is Herron’s favorite subject “because of the interesting contents and wonderful teachers.” He has maintained a GPA of 3.98.

Herron played baseball for Bob Jones and covered the positions of infield, outfield and pitcher. He is a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and is active in his youth group.

He has enjoyed playing basketball for the Basketball Association of Madison every year since he was five years old.

John’s parents are Phillip and Ashley Herron. John’s young sister, Charlotte, is 14 years old.

John will attend Mississippi State University with a major in engineering.
