Highsmith to host virtual music concert Sunday evening
Marc Highsmith, mayoral candidate in Madison is will host a free virtual music concert by a band on Sunday, Aug. 23 at 6 p.m. The concert will be live on both Facebook and YouTube simultaneously. Visit www.highsmith4mayor.com for more information.
Last week, Highsmith held a virtual town hall meeting to answer questions about his platform and goals. “Marc and our campaign would like to thank all the participants in the Q & A and the viewers of The Town Hall on Tuesday, August 18th, which was a great success,” said campaign chairman Hanu Karlapalem.
He said the video from the meeting is still available on the Highsmith campaign’s YouTube and Facebook.
Highsmith is running against incumbent Paul Finley for mayor in Madison’s municipal election on Aug. 25.
