Orr to speak to Republican Women of Madison on Sept. 16

MADISON – State Sen. Arthur Orr from Decatur will speak at the Sept. 16 meeting of Republican Women of Madison.

“Please consider joining us for lunch to hear from Alabama Sen. Arthur Orr as he discusses the latest on the state’s handling of COVID-19 and (gives a ) sneak peak of what to expect from the Alabama State Legislature in 2021,” President Sheila Banister said.

The lunch meeting for Republican Women of Madison will be held at the Best Western Plus in Madison, 9035 Madison Blvd. The session will be open from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The meeting will start at 11:30 a.m.

Guests at the meeting will observe social distancing practices. Seating is limited to 40 people.

Lunch costs $15. Guests can pay at the venue by cash or check.

For a reservation at the lunch, email rsvp@rwmadison.org by Sept. 15 at noon. Guests also must cancel a reservation by noon on Sept. 15.

Officers of Republican Women of Madison are Sheila Banister, President; Marcia Parsons, 1st Vice President; Glenda Neill, 2nd Vice President; Carol Wissmann, Secretary; Susan Pierce, Treasurer; and Dee Voelkel, Past President.
