Kids to Love receives $100K from Iron Mountain Solutions

MADISON – A local software firm’s donation to a harbor in foster care will improve their property’s setting and will welcome girls as they arrive and instill good memories when they leave.

Iron Mountain Solutions contributed $100,000 to Kids to Love for upgrades at the foundation’s Davidson Farms Cottage Community.

“Iron Mountain Solutions is humbled to be able to contribute $100,000 for campus improvement of Kids to Love to include landscaping and a driveway to access the campus for the young women transitioning out of foster care and into the cottage community,” President and CEO Hank Isenberg said.

This driveway is a necessary addition for the safety and well-being of future residents as they continue their education or begin careers while remaining under the guidance of the Kids to Love team of mentors. Construction of the cottage homes are underway with move-in dates set for mid-2022.

“Thanks to the vision of Kids to Love, I am honored to witness the future growth of the Cottage Community. My hope is that the program builds the path to success for these residents,” Isenberg said.

Kids to Love strives to meet immediate needs of children living in foster care. Davidson Farms, which Kids to Love owns, provides a refuge for local orphaned and abandoned ‘tween’ and teenage girls. After these young women transition out of foster care and into a life of independence, they’re often met with challenges many young adults may face.

“When our girls age out of Davidson Farms, they are still in need of loving family,” Marshall said about the Cottage Community. “We must continue to be a stable force for them as they work on their education and/or career. They will learn how to live independently, but with continual guidance and support.”

Founded in 2007, Iron Mountain Solutions originally focused on aviation but has grown rapidly. The technology solutions company is a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that Hank Isenberg founded. Employees have extensive expertise in systems engineering, software and hardware engineering, airworthiness, engine diagnostics, test, project management, programmatic support, cybersecurity, information assurance, acquisitions, logistics and foreign military sales.

Iron Mountain Solutions’ address is 300 Voyager Way, Suite 100 in Huntsville. For more information, call 256-529-1500 or visit ironmountainsolutions.com.
