City of Madison Update planned for Sept. 10 at VBC

MADISON – Mayor Paul Finley will present “City of Madison Update” as a forum to announce current affairs and future projects for the community.

The Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County, in cooperation with Madison Chamber Of Commerce, is coordinating the event. The update will be held on Sept. 10 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Von Braun Center, East Hall in Huntsville at 700 Monroe St. SW.

Finley will use the opportunity to highlight the City of Madison’s progress over the years while he served as mayor and his outlook for the years ahead. Finley is working in the last months of his term and decided not to run for re-election.

Chamber personnel expect the City of Madison Update to attract approximately 450 representatives from business, government and nonprofit organizations.

To register for the event, members of the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/ Madison County will be eligible for member-only rates and options. Visit www.hsvchamber.org/ events/details/2025-cityof- madison-update-withmayor- paul-finley-16273, and click the “Register” box.

To attend this joint event, individuals can purchase a single ticket or a table by using the Huntsville chamber’s website. Anyone who is not a chamber member can also register with the website page.

An individual ticket for chamber members costs $50. A ticket for anyone who is not a chamber member will cost $100. A reserved table that will seat eight people costs $725.
