Sponsorships needed for ‘Taste of Madison’ to benefit Miracle League Madison

MADISON – Residents can enjoy samples of Madison’s popular restaurants at one location while helping the fundraising for a specialized baseball field.

On Sept. 24, the Trash Pandas Foundation will host their first “Taste of Madison” event to benefit construction of the field for Miracle League Madison. The field in Palmer Park will give children with disabilities the chance to play baseball — regardless of their abilities. Miracle League is a national foundation.

Miracle League Madison was established in November 2022. Madison Visionary Partners is serving as a fiscal sponsor. A citizen-led committee has been working behind the scenes to construct renderings, formulate cost estimates and other project planning essentials.

The field will have specialized rubber fields and flat bases. Children with special needs or who use mobility aids can navigate this field. After funding has been secured, Madison Parks and Recreation Department will lead the eventual project build-out.

The Taste of Madison evening will be an opportunity for restaurants to showcase their cuisine to hundreds of local tasters. Organizers will ask restaurants to provide 300 bite-sized tastings for guests; each restaurant will pay $50 for a participation fee.

Tickets will go on sale soon. A ticket will cost $75 before Aug. 24; after that date, a ticket will cost $90. With a ticket, a guest can sample offerings from area restaurants at no additional charge.

Setup for the event will begin at 4 p.m. Tastings will open at 6 p.m. Booth spaces are limited. To participate, restaurants owners should visit cognitoforms.com/RocketCityTrashPandas1/_ 2026TasteOf-MadisonVendorForm.

Individuals, businesses and civic groups can serve as a sponsor for the event and Miracle League Madison. Each sponsorship level includes complimentary tickets and additional benefits, like social media recognition. Four levels of sponsorship are available:

• Base Hit sponsor — Recognition on event webpage. Two complimentary tickets. $500.

• Double sponsor — Recognition on event webpage. Four complimentary tickets. Social media posting. $1,000.

• Triple sponsor – Same benefits as preceding level but includes six complimentary tickets. $2,500.

• Home Run sponsor — Same benefits as preceding level but includes the sponsor’s logo on event webpage, sponsor display table and 12 complimentary tickets. $5,000.

• Grand Slam sponsor – This level has been sold. Serves as presenting level with increased marketing recognition. $7,500.

Miracle League Madison’s goal is to complete the field at Palmer Park by spring 2028.
