Hogan Family YMCA to host 2026 Veterans Prayer Breakfast

MADISON – Commemorating two decades for the event, the 20th annual Veterans Prayer Breakfast, sponsored by Heart of the Valley YMCA, will be hosted by Hogan Family YMCA, 130 Park Square Lane in Madison, on Nov. 6.

“This cherished community tradition has brought together more than 300 veterans, active-duty military personnel and community leaders for a meaningful morning of gratitude, reflection and fellowship as we honor the service and sacrifice of those who have served our nation,” according to Heart of the Valley YMCA.

Akima is the presenting sponsor for the breakfast, which is powered in part by The Company You Keep and Raytheon.

This special event launches Veterans Week in the Tennessee Valley and rallies civilians and military personnel alike. YMCA officials encourage all veterans and individuals in active military service to request complimentary tickets to attend this special celebration. For tickets, email events@ymcahuntsville.org.

The event will start at 6:45 a.m. with a coffee reception. The program will begin at 7:30 a.m.

Guests will enjoy breakfast foods, an inspiring keynote address, a special award presentation and moving moments of music and prayer as the audience recognizes the service and sacrifice of people who have served the United States.

Col. Anthony Rogers, Portfolio Acquisition Executive Fires, will serve as keynote speaker for the breakfast. “As we celebrate two decades of this cherished tradition, we look forward to welcoming Col. Rogers for a meaningful morning dedicated to honoring the service, sacrifice and unwavering commitment of our nation’s military veterans,” according to Heart of the Valley YMCA.

Event proceeds will provide financial support to active-duty military personnel, veterans and military families, granting them access to the YMCA with memberships, its life-changing programs, wellness opportunities and a supportive community. In 2025, Heart of the Valley YMCA provided more than $90,000 in membership fees to local military families.

An individual ticket for guests, spouses and dependents costs $40. The fee for a table starts at $750 for one table of eight at the event with company name and logo displayed. In addition, people can donate seats or tables to veterans. As stated, service members and veterans can request a complimentary ticket; email events@ymcahuntsville.org.

Individuals and businesses can serve as sponsors to support the event. For more information, visit ymcahuntsville.org/vpb.
