Five things to do in Madison this week

1. MADISON 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION & FIREWORKS DISPLAY

MONDAY, July 4

Venue: Dublin Memorial Park

Come out for the annual 4th of July celebration and cool off with inflatable slides.  Children & adults can enjoy sliding down the Giant Sabre-tooth Tiger Slide or try to find their way through a 70 ft. obstacle course, splash down the water slide or sit underneath the giant tent while listening to music provided by the “Shakes.” 

2. THE MAGIC OF DNA- HUDSON ALPHA

TUESDAY, July 5

Times: 4-5 p.m.

Where: Madison Public Library

Admission: Free

Bring your children for a fun learning experience about DNA.

3. MADISON GAZEBO CONCERTS IN THE PARK: SONGWRITER’S NIGHT

THURSDAY, July 7

Times: 6:30-8 p.m.

Come out for a night of free, live music from Jon Tinger, Chapman James & Mary Justice.

4. MADISON CITY FARMERS MARKET

SATURDAY, July 9

Times: 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

Admission: Free

The market features delicious, local produce including eggs, meats, home-baked goods, fresh herbs, honey and goat cheese. There will also be hand-made soaps, lotions and other items.

5. ROCKET CITY UNITED VS JACKSONVILLE
