Gigi’s Cupcakes hosting new menu tasting

Gigi’s Cupcakes is offering Madison residents the opportunity to try out its new spring menu items.

Gigi’s New Menu Tasting Party will be Saturday, March 24 from noon until 6 p.m. at the store, located at 1591 Hughes Road.

All mini-cupcakes will be free, no purchase necessary.

“It’s a good chance for people to come by to try new flavors,” said Kevin Bauerle, marketing coordinator. “Customers can try spring menu flavors they’ve never heard of before.”

Bauerle said Gigi’s occasionally throws tasting parties for fans, and saw this as an opportunity to let the public try out items they otherwise may not have the opportunity to taste.

“We do it as a big thank you to those who have been supporting us over the years,” he said.

All mini-cupcakes will be free, no purchase necessary. Bauerle said they would also have free giveaways and contests.

“We’re trying to make it fun and bring in members of the community,” he said.

There are two Gigi’s franchises in Madison County: 2109 Whitesburg Drive in Huntsville and1591 Hughes Road Suite A in Madison.

The Thompson and Cain families own Gigi’s franchises in North Alabama.

The new flavors include: chocolate cookie dough, cinnamon roll, lemon poppy seed, Mississippi mud and hummingbird.

Gigi’s of Madison celebrated its one-year anniversary last October.
