Sci-Quest holding Parents’ Night Out event

Parents, are you ready for a night out? Then sign your children up for Sci-Quest’s Parents’ Night Out event on Friday, July 20 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Drop off begins at 5:30 p.m.

Enjoy a night out on the town and unwind from the work week while your children enjoy dinner, science activities, and time with Sci-Quest’s hands-on exhibits in a secure environment.

This month children will have fun going green. They will discover the three R’s of conservation: reduce, reuse and recycle. Through hands-on activities, they will learn about ways to reduce impacts on the environment, including how to save energy and resources, create less waste, and enjoy and protect our local ecosystems.

Parents’ Night Out is for children ages 4 to12 years. Admission is $20 per child and $15 per additional child in the same household. Sci-Quest members receive a 10 percent discount. Deadline to sign up is noon on July 20. Call 256-837-0606 for more information or visit www.sci-quest.org to register online.
