John Lee Wells; Oct. 24, 2012

John Lee Wells, 68 of Madison passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years and former Mayor of the City of Madison, Janet Kaelson Wells; son, Jeffrey Scott Wells; daughter, Kimberly Wells Coleman; and three granddaughters, Gabrielle, Lauren and Sophia Coleman.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice & Home Health Fund of Alabama, 2400 John Hawkins Parkway, Birmingham, Alabama 35244.

A gathering of friends and family has been planned for Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Madison Chapel Funeral Home in Madison.
