MADISON – Anyone looking for a way to give back time and energy to the community can volunteer at Inside-Out Ministries on Saturday.

On Aug. 9, Inside-Out will conduct a workday at its property at 103 Gin Oaks Court, just south on Main Street and west of Wall Triana.

Founders Larry and Deborah Ward welcome individuals, small groups and club committees to “help get a few things finished and marked off the list.”

Inside-Out, a 501(c) 3 charity, unites churches, individuals and the community. The all-volunteer organization doesn’t pay salaries and has low overhead.

The Wards accept applications from residents who have needs for clothing, utility payments, appliances, furniture and housing. “We were drawn to share resources God has put at our disposal and to seek out others who had a heart for helping,” Deborah Ward said.

For more information, call Inside-Out at 256-325-5193, email to deborah@inside-outministries.org or visit inside-outministries.org or Twitter @Insideout_AL.
