Funeral service was held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at the Bright Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America (11796 Mooresville Road, Madison, AL 35756) with Reverend Willie James Mangruem officiated. Interment was held in the Thatch Mann Cemetery in Athens, AL. Mr. Johnson lay in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
Public viewing was from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2014 and from 9:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at the Mason Chapel Funeral Home in Athens, Alabama.
