Columbia Chess Team rates first place at Samford

MADISON – The Columbia Elementary School Chess Team ranked in first place for their division at the Central Alabama Team Scholastic Chess Tournament at Samford University on Sept. 6.

Team members are Chase Smith, Pranaav Satheesh, Aaron Woods and Abhi Emani. Their coach is Russ Freeman.
