For the first time in years, the annual homecoming parade for Bob Jones High School will not take place on Hughes Road.

Due to the traffic situation regarding the closing of a significant portion of Wall-Triana Highway, the route will follow Celtic Drive so as not to close down two major north-south arteries in Madison.

The parade will begin at the intersection of Celtic Drive and Madison Boulevard to the south and will veer left at the northern edge of the city football stadium. It will continue the loop around the parking lot and will end just before meeting Celtic Drive.

The parade is set to start at 5:45 p.m. Thursday and will start organizing at 4:30 p.m. in the Wal-Mart parking lot.
