MADISON – Scoring touchdowns is a big thrill for Zachary Ellenburg, so no one is surprised that flag football and soccer are his two favorite games.
“It is fun to try to score touchdowns, and I like being part of a team,” Zachary said.
Zachary is enrolled in fourth grade at Columbia Elementary School. He participates in Breakout activities at Asbury United Methodist Church.
His parents are Jason and Melanie Ellenburg. Jason works as an electrical engineer for the Missile and Space Intelligence Center. Melanie works at home and frequently volunteers at Columbia elementary.
Zachary’s siblings, who also attend Columbia, are second-grader Claire and kindergartners Sophie and Piper. The Ellenburg family moved to Madison in 2008 so the children could attend school in the Madison district and live closer to their church.
