MADISON – Matt Stern takes the game of football seriously. Personally, he is happy never to cause a missed or botched snap this year in football.
“I like the strategy that football takes and the skill needed to excel. I also love it because you need to be a good ‘team’ to do well against others — nine units strong,” Matt said.
Matt plays positions of center and linebacker in flag football for Upwards Sports. He also plays basketball at Rainbow Elementary School, where he is in sixth grade.
Matt’s parents are Steven and Christy Stern. “My dad works as a Senior Analyst at the U.S. Government Accountability Office,” Matt said. “My mom works even harder as a stay-at-home mom.”
Matt has a twin brother, Alex. Their younger sister Sarah is a Rainbow fourth-grader. The Stern family moved to Madison in 2005 because of Matt’s job.
