I-565 traffic unaffected by signage at Town Madison interchange

MADISON – Alabama Department of Transportation or ALDOT advises motorists that signage on I-565 for Town Madison’s new interchange will not affect traffic flow at this time. 

“You may see signs go into place this week for construction on Interstate 565 at the future Town Madison interchange. No impacts to traffic are expected at this time,” Seth Burkett said. Burkett works as North Region Public Information Officer for ALDOT.

“In the coming months, some traffic shifts and temporary lane closures will be required,” Burkett said. “ALDOT will be assisting with providing traffic updates, but the department’s role in the project in limited. Please refer questions to Town Madison.”
