Year-round Kidsafe Center opens in Madison
MADISON – A program designed to help keep kids safe and save lives is now available in Madison throughout the year. The Wallace Allstate Insurance Agency on County Line Road held a ribbon cutting Friday for an Operation Kidsafe Center.
Owner Jason Wallace explained said the Center will offer free digital fingerprinting and photos for parents to have on hand in case of an emergency. The one-page document is called an ‘Amber Alert Passport.’ It is free and private. It has a blank space for parents to write-in personal information about their child. “We print off their picture, we print off their fingerprints they take it home and fill out everything else,” Wallace said.
The document can be used to quickly help police if there is ever an emergency.
The program was started 18-years-ago by founder, Mark Bott. Since it started, the program’s helped protect more than one million kids. Bott worked with ‘America’s Most Wanted’ host, John Walsh, to start the program.
The Center is located at the The Wallace Agency, 11156 County Line Rd Ste D in Madison.
