Madison police make arrest in weekend shooting

MADISON – Madison Police made an arrest for a weekend shooting at Mattie Court, near James Clemens High School.
Police said they responded to a residence in the 100 block of Mattie Court shortly after 4 a.m. Saturday morning. One person was transported to Huntsville Hospital in serious condition with a gunshot wound.

Detectives later arrested William Alexander Eckstein, age 21, for assault in the first degree. He was booked into the Limestone County Jail.
