Redstone Harley-Davidson plans Poker Run to help BB/BS

MADISON – Redstone Harley-Davidson will host the first annual “Poker Run – Ride for Kids’ Sake” to benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Tennessee Valley organization on Sept. 11.

Registration will run from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by the first ‘bike out’ at 10:30 a.m. Fees are $20 per licensed biker and $10 per passenger.

The first stop for the Poker Run will be Flint River Coffee Company at 1443 Winchester Road NE in Huntsville (for information, call 256-859-0109). The second stop will take bikers to Billy’s Sports Bar and Grill at 14881 U.S. 231 in Hazel Green (for information, call 256-829-0555).

The third and final stop will be Bowler Hat Brewing Company at 7429 U.S. 72 W in Madison (for information, call 256-325-3928).

Back at Harley-Davidson, timing for the last ‘bike in’ will be 2:30 p.m. Presentation of door prizes and results of the 50/50 drawing are scheduled for 2:35 p.m. Prizes for “Best Hand” and for “Worst Hand” will be awarded at 2:45 p.m.

Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mission is to provide children who are facing adversity with strong and enduring relationships that are professionally supported and established on a one-to-one basis. These relationships between the older role model and the youth change their lives for the better . . . forever.

By partnering with parents, guardians, volunteers and others in the community, Big Brothers Big Sisters stands accountable for each child in the program. The youth can achieve higher aspirations, greater confidence and better relationships, while avoiding risky behavior. For more information, call 256-880-2123 or visit bbbstv.org.

Redstone Harley-Davidson takes pride in many additional benefits that sets the business apart from other dealerships. For example, Redstone Harley-Davidson has the only free-to-use event room in the state, called “Redstone Roadhouse,” according to the business’ website. (redstoneharley-davidson.com) The room’s design is a springboard for community activities, motorcycle rides and local club or organization’s activities.

Redstone Harley-Davidson’s address is 15100 Hwy. 20 W. in Madison (just west of Greenbrier Road). For more information, call 256-384-6868 or visit redstoneharley-davidson.com.
