Year-end donations boost work of Madison Visionary Partners

MADISON – Reflecting on 2024, individuals with Madison Visionary Partners or MVP are pleased with the organization’s efforts to enhance Madison’s quality of life. As 2024 closes, MVP urges residents to consider giving a year-end donation to help in continuing these improvements.

“From $10,000 of Community Impact Grants to local nonprofits, to the creation of the Madison Mural Trail, from Madison Community Center to honoring Madison’s volunteers at the Madison Visionary Awards, we have accomplished so much to make Madison better in 2024,” according to MVP’s website at mvpmadison. org.

“As the year draws to a close, Madison Visionary Partners invites you to join us in building a better Madison. Together, we’ve made strides for everyone in Madison. But there is so much more we can do, and we need your support to make it happen,” according to the website.

MVP often uses its motto: “Give Where You Live.”

Madison’s first public mural, “March of the Monarch,” brightens 92 Shorter St. outside Honest Coffee Roasters and across from The Avenue apartment community. Local artist Ann Moeller created the artwork to pay homage to the Monarch butterfly, which is Alabama’s state insect and a symbol of transformation. Madison has a Monarch Garden on Dublin Park’s campus.

The Mural Trail’s other site at 14 Main St. is a colorful, whimsical depiction of Madison’s founding as Madison Station. As a thank-you gesture for any gift of $50 or more, MVP will present an ornament inspired by the Madison Station mural and hand-painted by the mural’s artist, Sonya Clemons.

“Your end-of-year gift to Madison Visionary Partners can be the difference between a good community and a great one,” according to MVP’s website. “By giving today, you become a part of something bigger: a legacy of care that reaches every corner of Madison.”

To donate, visit givebutter. com/mvpgiving. Donors can decide to contribute with a one-time amount or with recurring monthly payments. Individuals can opt to indicate a fund to receive the money, honor someone or memorialize a late friend or relative.

“Donate today and let’s build a vibrant Madison – together,” according to MVP.

Founded in 2014, MVP is a community nonprofit organization that spearheads projects and initiatives that enhance residents’ lifestyles. A board of directors governs this apolitical, 501(c)3 organization.

Madison Visionary Partners’ mailing address is 103 Spenryn Drive, Madison, AL 35758-1891. For more information, call 256384-4358, email info@mvpmadison. org or visit mvpmadison. org or Facebook/ MVP Madison Visionary Partners.
