Most Merciful Jesus Catholic Parish to present Bless Fest May 3-4

MADISON – Most Merciful Jesus Catholic Parish will host Bless Fest 2025 on May 3-4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days.

This year marks the third anniversary of the community festival on the church property at 10509 Segers Road in Madison. The fest symbolizes a commitment and camaraderie among the church’s parishioners to produce an outstanding event.

Scores of volunteers have donated their free time and talents for a successful festival. A celebration of spring, Bless Fest promises family fun and a gathering for residents.

Local arts and crafts shopping for diverse artisan products will be staged in an outdoor setting. Some of the merchandise will include colorful quilts; assorted stationery and desk supplies designed by SomeFinn; girls’ dresses; Christmas ornaments; pillowcase covers and laundry bags for travel or graduation gifts; religious bookmarks; cutting boards; Currahee Crafts with wooden, carved items; mosaic crosses; soy wax candles; attractive creations by Time to Fuse; upscale pens; Living My Dash Art accessories; and magnificent pieces by Dr. Samper’s Mightier Than the Sword.

Children can enjoy playing games. Officers with Madison Fire and Rescue Department will give tours of a firetruck to children.

The food menu will offer pancakes, French toast and burritos for breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. and burgers, quarter-pound hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, grilled cheese and chips from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mercy Five will entertain live on May 3 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., followed by Calypso Vision on May 4 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Ticketholders for the sweepstakes will have a chance for first prize of $3,000; second prize, $1,000; and third prize, $500. Five tickets cost $20, plus a $2 processing fee. Winning tickets will be drawn at the festival at 3:30 p.m. on May 4.

Ticketholders do not need to be present to win. For tickets, visit mostmercifuljesuschurch. org/ product-page/bless-fest-2025-sweepstakes-tickets.

In an online auction, individuals can bid on a one-week vacation to Park City, Utah.

Event proceeds will boost the fundraising efforts for the Capital Campaign to construct a permanent building for the parish, which was founded in 2017 to serve the religious needs of Madison’s growing population.

The office address is 10509 Segers Road in Madison, and office hours for the parish are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Father Joy Chalissery serves as Pastor.
