Burritt on the Mountain to celebrate traditional art and music with festival Nov. 8

HUNTSVILLE – Burritt on the Mountain invites the community to celebrate Alabama’s rich traditions at the 5th annual Round Top Folk Festival on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 10 am to 4 pm. This event brings history to life with traditional crafts and skills, demonstrations, regional artisans, and local and regional musicians performing throughout the day.

Guests can explore the artistry of blacksmithing, woodworking, fiber crafts, and other folk traditions, while also shopping from artist and craft vendors offering handmade goods, culinary creations, and visual arts.

Live music will fill the mountaintop throughout the day with performances at the Isenberg Gazebo and across the Historic Park. A highlight of the festival will be a special performance by local favorite Microwave Dave, who will take the stage from 12:30 to 2:00 pm. General admission rates apply.

New this year, festival-goers can begin their day with the Round Top Brunch at Baron Bluff from 10 to 11:30 am. The gourmet brunch features a blend of traditional favorites made with the freshest ingredients, served family-style indoors with outdoor dining available, weather permitting.

Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast while taking in the best views of Huntsville from the mountaintop. Tickets for the brunch are $25 for adults and $12 for children, with children under three admitted free. Brunch tickets include general admission to Burritt, and sales close on Nov. 5 at noon.
