UAH extends win streak to eight in road win over Lee
CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The UAH volleyball team concluded a twomatch Tennessee road trip with a 3-1 (25-22 | 23-25 | 27-25 | 25-18) victory over Gulf South Conference opponent Lee in Cleveland, Tenn. The win marked the eighth straight for UAH dating back to October 3.
The Chargers improved to 18-4 (10-3 GSC) with the win, while the Flames dropped to 12-11 (8-6 GSC).
Carlee Lowry led the UAH offense with 17 kills in the match on a .483 hitting percentage, also a teamhigh. Caroline Moyer, Kayla Ward, and Zoe Smith each added 11 kills to the UAH attack, with Smith also adding 14 digs. Anna Clare Hutto had 28 assists to highlight the category for the Blue & White.
Defensively, Mary Grace Bundrant and Ward each totaled four blocks, while Sydney Durban led the squad in digs with 15. Overall, the Chargers outpaced the Flames in digs 62-to-44.
Next up for the Chargers is a home matchup against No. 16 West Florida on Oct. 31 at SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall at 6 p.m.
