Holiday Magic Pass helps families connect with fun
HUNTSVILLE – For holiday memories and fun, the Huntsville-Madison County Convention and Visitors Bureau has released its 2025 Holiday Magic Pass. The Pass helps guide locals to find seasonal events, special discounts and activities. For each time a participant uses the pass to check into an event or participating location, they will receive an entry with the possibility of winning the grant prize package.
“The holiday magic pass is kind of a gamified [holiday] experience for guests and locals alike,” said Huntsville-Madison County Convention and Visitors Bureau Communications Manager Brent Boyd. “What we’ve done in the past is basically made it possible for people to have one place to look at all the events that are happening in Huntsville and Madison County throughout the holiday season. But we’ve gone a little bit farther than that [this year], and we’ve basically created a reward system for checking in. You can save the pass to your phone and use it when you’re going out to different events. Check in using that pass, and the more you check in, the more entries you get to our grand prize drawing, which happens in January.”
Boyd said to receive the Holiday Magic Pass, go to www.huntsville.org/visitor- info/special-offers/ holiday-pass and sign up for the free pass.
“There’s no obligations, no purchases necessary to participate in the award or the grand prize drawing,” he said. “You’ll have all the events right there in the palm of your hand, so anything you want to get out and do in the city or county this holiday season should be listed there on the pass. And then when you go to enjoy that event, there’s a check-in option once you’re there, and every time you check in to an event throughout the season games, you get another chance to win our grand prize.”
For those looking for a convenient, extensive list of holiday activities and discounts, Boyd said the Holiday Magic Pass can help guide locals to family fun and memories.
“Several of our partners have created coupons that’re exclusive to the pass,” he said. “So, for example, there’s a 30% off coupon if you shop at the Burritt on the Mountain gift shop, and they have a lot of local artists creating things throughout the year. It’s a great gift shop to visit over the holiday season. And by using the pass and the coupon that’s available there, you can get a 30% off your purchase. I believe there’s a minimum purchase, but it’s pretty low. And then, of course, we’re busy keeping up with all the events that are happening throughout the throughout the community, and adding those to the past as they become aware to us, but there’s already more than 50 that we’ve put on the path so far this year, everything from skating in the park to the Christmas light show at Toyota Field.”
