Huntsville Ballet continues its season with Dancers’ Choice

Dancer’s Choice offers a unique series of in-studio performances that place creativity directly in the hands of the company’s professional dancers

HUNTSVILLE — Dancers’ Choice offers company members the opportunity to choreograph and perform works in genres of their choosing, showcasing both classical and contemporary styles in an intimate studio setting. The close proximity between audience and performers creates an immersive, interactive experience that has become a favorite among patrons.

According to Artistic Director Phillip Otto, “The studio environment allows audiences to experience dance in a very personal way. It’s equally enjoyed by seasoned ballet enthusiasts and those attending their first performance.”

The program will feature excerpts and variations from beloved ballets including Romeo and Juliet, La Sylphide, and Stage Door Canteen, along with three new works choreographed by Cathy Curry and company dancers Abby Callahan and Daria Kasuska.

Each performance concludes with an audience favorite: a post-show opportunity to meet the dancers and directors, take photos, and ask questions about the Showtimes & Ticket Information
