Madison Chamber of Commerce’s Heartbeat of Healthcare to show evolving vision of medicine

MADISON – Madison Chamber of Commerce has scheduled an event that will examine the evolving healthcare landscape in the community of Madison.

The “Heartbeat of Healthcare” summit will take an in-depth look at the changing environment for caregivers and patients. The theme of this year’s event is “Healthcare in our Community.”

The program on March 13 will open at 7:30 a.m. and run until 9 a.m. CrossPointe Church at 78 Hughes Road will serve as the event’s venue. BlueCross BlueShield of Alabama is presenting the session.

Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. The program will begin at 8 a.m.

Registration will close on March 6. “You can hear from local industry experts as they share insights on current trends, emerging innovations and the initiatives shaping Madison’s future well-being,” Chamber President Michelle Epling said.

Epling said the chamber is thrilled to share this year’s panel:

• Dr. Heather Donaldson — Chief Academic Officer of Madison City Schools.

• Josh Hewiett – Vice President of Physician Services with Huntsville Hospital.

• Dr. Jeff Johnson — Medical Director of the Emergency Department with Madison Hospital.

• Mary Lynne Wright – President of Madison Hospital.

“This event offers a valuable opportunity to stay informed, connect with healthcare leaders and take part in meaningful discussions about the future of care in our grow- ing city,” Epling said. “Don’t miss this chance to engage with the voices shaping healthcare in Madison!”

Registration fee for chamber members will be $55. Individuals who are not members will pay $70 for the registration fee.

Registration for a full table before March 9 will be $750; after March 9, the fee will be $850. A half table before March 9 will be $400; after March 9, the fee increases to $450.
