Panoply brings a weekend of art, music and imagination

Art and music come together the last weekend in April for a three-day celebration in downtown Huntsville. Now in its 44th year, the annual Panoply Arts Festival takes over Big Spring Park April 24-26, 2026, offering three days of live music, shopping for original works of art, demonstrations and hands-on activities along with two nights of fireworks.

Panoply kicks off at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 24 and over 15 bands and performers that make Huntsville the place to be for music today will entertain the crowd during the three-day event. Headlining Friday’s evening lineup is Jazz McKenzie, a contestant on Season 28 of The Voice (2025), where she was a standout member of Team Bublé. She earned a four-chair turn during her Blind Audition and ultimately placed 6th in the competition, finishing as a finalist. Saturday’s headliner is the Otis Walker Band who has gained a reputation for his soulful ballads and Double Barrel closes out the three day event Sunday beginning at 5:15 p.m. The full lineup is available on www.artshuntsville.org/event/panoply-music.

As music fills the air, festivalgoers can shop, participate in hands-on art activities and watch demonstrations in the STEAM Street and Creativity Corner. The juried Art Marketplace, one of the most popular features of the festival, showcases the one-of-a-kind creations from approximately 115 talented artists traveling from across the southeast region and from Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Pennsylvania. For a complete list, visit www.artshuntsville.org/event/panoply-art. At the Panoply Student Art Tent both children and adults can explore artwork from local students of all ages in Madison County.

Festival patrons are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the entertainment each day and Friday and Saturday evenings conclude with a spectacular fireworks display. Along with a diverse array of art and music, the craft beer, wine and food tent returns offering an assortment from a dozen vendors.

Festival hours are 5-9 p.m. on Friday, April 24; 10 a.m.-9 p.m. on Saturday, April 25; and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday, April 26.
