Madison Chamber to host “State of the Region” at Toyota Field next week
Madison Chamber of Commerce will present “State of the Region” on July 28 at Toyota Field. The event will feature Limestone County Commission Chairman Collin Daly and Madison County Commission Chairman Ronald ‘Rex’ Vaughn.

Madison Chamber to host “State of the Region” at Toyota Field next week

MADISON – Residents can learn about updates for initiatives and the status of in-progress projects at the upcoming “State of the Region” address.

Madison Chamber of Commerce will present the event on July 28 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in SportsMED Stadium Club, 500 Trash Panda Way at Toyota Field. Featured speakers will be Limestone County Commission Chairman Collin Daly and Madison County Commission Chairman Ronald ‘Rex’ Vaughn.

Daly grew up in Limestone County on his family’s farm. He is a second- generation public servant. Before his election success in 2018, he worked as a technician at Limestone County Water and Sewer Authority. Currently, he serves as Vice President of the Association of County Commissions of Alabama.

Vaughn, a lifelong resident of Madison County, owns Vaughn Farms; this work led him to advocate for Alabama agriculture. Vaughn has held numerous leadership positions: Governor’s Tornado Recovery Action Council after the 2011 tornado outbreak, County Judicial Commission and Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission.

“Start your morning with insight and connection at the State of the Region address, presented by Mazda Toyota Manufacturing. (This session is) a key gathering of business and community leaders across North Alabama. The briefing offers a high-level look at regional growth, economic trends and priorities shaping our future,” Chamber President Michelle Epling said.

Doors will open at 7:15 a.m.; breakfast will start at 7:30 a.m. The program will begin at 8 a.m.

Chamber members will pay $85 for tickets. Anyone who isn’t a chamber member will pay $100.

Daly and Vaughn will answer questions that chamber members have submitted.

“Reserve your seat or host a table today, and be part of the conversation shaping North Alabama,” Epling said.
