Hazel Perry; Oct. 14, 2010

Hazel C. “Mama” Perry, 93, of Madison departed this Earth for her home in heaven on Thursday, Oct. 14.

Mrs. Perry was a native of Jackson County and had lived in the Huntsville area since 1969. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, precious grandmother and loyal neighbor and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Hurley “Papa” Perry, and daughter, Brenda Cagle.

She is survived by her grandson, Mike Rosser and his wife Tracy.

Visitation was from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 at Madison Chapel Funeral Home. Graveside services followed at 2:30 p.m. at Valhalla Memory Gardens with Dr. Mike Allison officiating.

The family would like to specially thank the staffs of Madison Manor and Valley View nursing facilities for their care and compassion.
