Rocket City United kicks off fall break camps this week

Rocket City United (RCU) will be hosting two fall break camps this year, Madison at Dublin Park this Thursday and Friday (Oct. 6-7), and Monrovia at Monrovia Middle School from Oct. 20-21.

This year’s camps are going to be better than ever this year with RCU President, Andy Zorovich, and RCU star, Ryan Maxwell at the helm.

Andy has had a long career in soccer, both as a player and professionally. As a player, he was part of the USA U-20 youth national pool, as well as a two-time College All-American. Professionally, Andy has been a part of the Charleston Battery, TUS Celle FC (Germany), Tampa Bay Cyclones, and of course Rocket City United.

Maxwell joined RCU last year, but started as a member of the Jamaican National U20 team. In 2005, he received a scholarship to play for San Jacinto College in Houston, but after one year, transferred to the University of Tampa, where he played for three years and was an All-American Scholar in 2008. The following year, Maxwell was drafted 15th overall in the Major League Soccer Superdraft by the New England Revolution.
