Two business robberies on Friday

Police investigators were busy Friday evening and into the night with three business robberies. The first robbery was at the Super Target on University Drive around 4 pm.

Zachary Clark

Officers said 30-year-old Thomas Woods robbed the store, but was quickly captured and detain by store employees until police could arrive. He was charged with third degree robbery and booked in the Metro Jail without bond.

The second happened at the Advance America on Triana Boulevard around 4:45 p.m. Friday. Police have arrested 28-year-old Zachary Clark for the crime as witnesses said he pulled out a gun and demanded money, he also had a toboggan over his face during the robbery. Officials said Clark took the money and fled the scene, but was captured a short time later.

Early Friday evening Huntsville Police responded to separate two robberies, where they now have two men in custody.
