American Legion officers installed

American Legion Post 229 in Madison recently held a swearing-in ceremony for its officers. New officials for the post are (from left) Finance Officer Carlos Woods, Adjutant Vic van Leeuwen, 2nd Vice Commander William McGahey, 1st Vice Commander Nancy Burch, Commander Jeremy Blevins. Not pictured is immediate past Commander Carl Dow.

American Legion Post 229

Retired colonel Robert Wilkie officiated the ceremony. American Legion Post 229 meets monthly on the second Thursday at 7 p.m. at Madison Senior Center, 1282 Hughes Road. For more information, visit http://www.americanlegionpost229.org/.
