Madison police make arrest for apartment burglaries
MADISON — Madison police arrested a suspect Sept. 4 in connection to multiple residential burglaries at the Madison Landing apartment complex.
According to a press release from MPD, detectives arrested Don Beretta Toney, of Madison, on three counts of Burglary in the Third Degree. Toney was also arrested for one count of Theft of Property in the Fourth Degree, Theft of Property in the Third Degree and Theft of Property in the Second Degree.
Toney has been booked into the Madison County Jail and is being held on a $76,000 bond. MPD noted that this suspect was arrested “based on probable cause and is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
The burglaries in question occurred between May 5 and June 19 of this year.
