Madison Police arrest former teacher’s aide For willful abuse of child by care-giver
MADISON – A former teacher’s aide was arrested Thursday for child abuse. The Madison Police arrested 37-year-old Jamerson Lee Baker of Madison for one count of “willful torture/ abuse of a child by care-giver or person in charge”.
Police said Baker was arrested on a warrant obtained by detectives after an investigation into allegations made earlier this month.
Madison City Schools have advised that the aide was a contract employee through a staffing agency, said police officials.
Baker was arrested on April 25 and booked into the Limestone County Jail, pending a bond of $2,500.
