Summer Concert Series to feature “Good 2 Go” tonight at the Madison Library

MADISON – This week’s music at the Madison Arts Council’s Summer Concert Series will feature the feel-good sounds of Good 2 Go tonight, July 25.

Previously held at the Gazebo in downtown Madison, the free outdoor weekly concerts are being held on the back porch of the Madison Public Library, 142 Plaza Blvd.

The concert series is held Thursdays from 6-7:30 p.m.

Good 2 Go consists of a seasoned group of musicians that play feel-good classic rock, cool blues, and soulful and funky R&B hits with an energetic groove that makes everyone want to get up, move your feet, and sing along.

The members of “Good 2 Go” say they are individually and collectively experienced in live musical performance, and know how to get a crowd energized and provide a good time.

The band says they have been influenced by such bands as The Beatles, Bad Company, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Seger, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn and many more.

Good 2 Go members include Michelle Emens, vocals; Bryan Davenport, vocals, guitar and mandolin; Dave Williams, drums and percussion; James Emens, lead guitar; Chris Spears, bass and vocals, and Mark Cantrell, keyboards.
