ALDOT readying for winter weather
MADISON – Alabama Department of Transportation crews will be prepared to respond to snowy or icy conditions that may develop overnight.
Forecasts indicate a strong possibility of slushy accumulations on bridges and roads across north Alabama as rain transitions to snow late tonight and early Saturday. ALDOT says crews will be ready to clear and treat roads and bridges following wintry precipitation. However, motorists should expect hazardous conditions and avoid travel if possible.
