Chang named to dean's list
Chun Chang of Madison was recently named to the dean's list at Syracuse University's School of Management for the 2002 spring semester. Chang is a junior majoring in accounting and finance. To qualify for the dean's list, students must complete at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.4 grade point average.
UAB announces graduates
The following Madison residents were among the 1,017 students who received degrees or certificates during the spring 2002 quarter at the University of Alabama at Birmingham: Lena T. Austin, master's of arts and education; Sean L. Gill, bachelor's of science; Diane K. Penacerrada, bachelor's of science; Robert W. Rhoades, bachelor's of arts; and Steven M. Whitcomb, bachelor's of science.
Area residents named to UA dean's, president's lists
The following students made The University of Alabama dean's list for the spring 2002 semester with a grade point average of 3.5 or better: Elizabeth Suzanne Coleman, Harvest; Amy Michelle Nelson, Harvest; Ashley Nicole Bains, Madison; Dana Reshaay Eason, Madison; Brooke Lanise Elliott, Madison; Brannon S. UM announces honor roll
Two Madison residents have been named to the spring 2002 semester chancellor's honor roll at the University of Mississippi for obtaining a grade point average of 3.75 or greater. Honor students are Mary Margaret Turner and Courtney Brooke Losset.
Athens State announces top area scholars
The following area students have been named to the dean's list for the 2002 spring semester at Athens State University for earning a grade point average of 3.75 to 4.0: Jennifer D.
