Police Department investigating string of residential burglaries

The Madison Police Department is investigating a string of residential burglaries within the city.

At this time there, the MPD said there is no indication that the same offenders have committed all of the burglaries.

There are also no suspects or vehicle descriptions available.

The MPD wishes to remind citizens that residential burglaries are usually committed during the day, in the middle of the week, when residents are at work and school.

Residents are encouraged to be aware of any unusual activity in their neighborhood, including persons and vehicles that appear to be out of place or present for an unusually extended period of time.

The MPD requests that anyone who observes suspicious activity in their neighborhood contact the department at 256-722-7190.
