Study up on smart yards

The course will help homeowners learn management options for their home and landscape.

Alabama Smart Yards Home-a-Syst is a 12-session course. This “lunch and learn” program will be taught by Jerry Chenault and only costs $10 for all 12 sessions.

The course will help homeowners learn management options for their home and landscape. It will help them learn to evaluate the health and safety of their home environments.

The course will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon until 1 p.m. at Fort Decatur Recreation Center. Participants should bring their own lunch.

Courses will begin July 7 and end August 18. For more information call (256) 974-2464.
