Christian Borg Brakke; March 21, 2012

Christian Borg Brakke, 77, died March 21, 2012 at home with family in Madison.

Born March 30, 1934 in Farmington, Mich., beloved Chris is survived by his wife, Kimberly Ann Brakke; sons, Christian Eric Brakke and Eric John Brakke (Mary); grandchildren, Katherine, Kyle, Eric & Zack Brakke; sisters, Elsie Garner and June Strang.

Preceded in death by sisters Astrid Hancock & Josie Swartz.

Chris was an accomplished land developer, builder and specialty contractor. He enjoyed an active lifestyle in retirement with friends, enjoyed to travel and he had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles and antique cars. A steadfast supporter of his family, his word was his bond and Chris was loved and respected by many.

Interment was at Great Lakes National Veteran Cemetery in Holly, Mich. Berryhill Funeral Home assisted the family.
